Give Thanks – 16: Cold Weather

I know that those of you who consistently see freezing, or below-freezing, temperatures throughout the winter months may disagree with me here…

But, I was thrilled to see that the temperature (outside) was hovering between 37 and 40 degrees this morning!!  Finally.  It is mid-November, after all, and we’ve been stuck in the 80’s and 90’s for, what seems to me, a very, very long time.  Yes, that is why people move to Arizona.  Yes, that is why the “snowbirds” choose spend their winters here, and not in the frigid temperatures of the northern United States.  But, I was seriously beginning to wonder if Seasonal Affective Disorder could happen in reverse…from too much sun!!

Fall may be short-lived here, but I am ever so thankful that it seems to have finally arrived!!  And, I am off to find my sweaters, and my flannel-lined khakis…  You think I am kidding?!  Yes, I know.  I live in the wrong part of the country.

(What are you thankful for today?  Hop on over to Rebecca Writes, and share what you are thankful for this month!)
