Hannah, I thank the Lord everyday for giving you to us! You are growing up so quickly! And, I have loved watching you this past year, as you have continued to grow into a helpful, caring, little girl. I still consider it an amazing privilege to be your mommy. You know, I always wanted to be a mom, but I had no idea that it could be this much fun!!
Â
Always the social butterfly, you still love your friends. And, although you have quickly made new friends here in Arizona, I love how you still talk about, and miss your friends in California!Â
Â
You are a great helper, and have made housework so much more enjoyable for me, as you eagerly (and genuinely!) help me out each day. You have started feeding the kitties – all by yourself, and have even started doing other jobs all on your own, without being asked! I love how carefully you help me fold the laundry, and how quick you are to put things away where they belong.
Â
It has also been so fun to watch you learn as we “do school” together. I am so glad that I get to be your teacher – and that you love telling people that you are homeschooled when they ask you if you go to school yet! :) Still, I can hardly believe that you are already able to read…and you work so hard…and actually seem to enjoy it!
Â
You have become quite the little artist, and love anything requiring crayons, paint, glitter, stickers, or glue! And, I love all of the pretty pictures that you give me…now if I could only get you to actually mail them to your grandparents like you promised…. 🙂
Â
Sure, not everyday is perfect…but, I have to say, I think we somehow missed the whole 3-year-old attitude.  You have so much energy and a consistently joyful attitude. And, even if I am exhausted at the end of each day, I can’t imagine enjoying anything as much as I love spending each day with you…coloring with you, dancing with you, going to the park, playing dress-up, and Candy Land, and princesses, and fairies…and all sorts of other fun games you come up with! I keep telling you that I am going to miss my 3-year-old, and I am. But, I’m also really looking forward to having a…
4-year-old!!
Â
Happy Birthday, Hannah!!
