5-Years-Old!Â

Every year, I think it gets harder and harder to remember what our life was like before you…Not that I really want to! You truly are a blessing. You are growing into such a fun little person, and I love spending the day with you – playing, talking, teaching, shopping… Even after 5 years, I am no less amazed and thankful that I get to be your mommy.  It is a privilege and a joy to watch you learn, and grow into our sweet, caring, and compassionate little girl.  You have such a tender little heart, and you are always ready and willing to help however you can - whether that means a hug, or giving money from your piggy bank, food from our pantry, or as we’ve explained and discussed the possibility of adoption with you, even, your own parents. I pray that the Lord will continue to draw your little heart to Himself, and I am excited (and, honestly, just a little bit terrified) to see how the Lord might use that tender heart to serve Him in the future…Â
