Pierced Ears

Because the baby isn’t the only one with milestones to celebrate…

Somebody is growing up into such a sweet, beautiful young lady.

My grandpa used to say that if God intended for girls to have holes in their ears they would have been born with them. (I’m certain he never could have imagined that I would actually be born with a hole in my right earlobe! Random little tidbit for you there.)

Well, she wasn’t born with these but… I think they look very pretty anyway. And very grown up.

  1. Hello Veronica,

Thank you for visiting our blog. Your family is beautiful. I’ve held off on piercing our girls ears for sometime. My oldest was 14 before we allowed her ears to be pierced. My husband said “let’s make sure she can take care of all other areas of hygiene before we give her more to care for” and that’s been our guide. So far only one girl has her ears done.

    Loved browsing through past posts~

    1. We decided to wait until she brought up the idea…Being such a girly-girl, I am still kind of surprised she waited as long as she did!! 🙂 I showed her how to clean them, and basically did it for her for the first week…and then watched her do it herself this past week. And, honestly, she’s been better about remembering than I have!! (But, I think I scared her when I told her about what happened when I had mine pierced… Fear is a great motivator…even when it is unintentional!! 😉 )
