Happy Birthday, my sweet little Bekah-Bug!
As a newborn, you seemed to look around at our crazy family and wonder what we had gotten you into. But, you fit in to the chaos, and add to it, just perfectly.
You are my sweet, spunky little Bekah-Bug. I love that you have your own style, and your own (very strong!) opinions. From what you want to wear (all Minnie Mouse, all the time!), to how you love to climb up the slide. You are all girl, and love all things Minnie Mouse, pretending to bake muffins and cakes, and all sorts of goodies, and taking care of your baby dolls. But, you also love to run, play in the dirt, and ride your scooter, and catch bugs and lizards with your brother.
So far, you continue to be the only not-morning person of the group. It takes you a little longer than your siblings to get going in the mornings, and you definitely do not like to be woken up. But, once you do wake up, you are full of energy, and smiles, and ready to go! And go, and go, and go… You officially stopped napping this past year, which has curbed some of your night owl tendencies. But, you still love laying in bed, singing at the top of your little lungs, and chatting with (or at) Rachel. And, I think it is absolutely adorable when you cry because your little sister fell asleep before you. You just love her company.
You are our family cheerleader. You always have a sweet smile and hug for everyone. And, you always give your brother and sisters a sincere “Good job!” when they complete a task, or try something new. You have grown into such a sweet big sister! You comfort and entertain your little sister with a surprising amount of patience! And, I love how you look up to your big brother and sister. You think everything they do is just amazing…and of course, you want to do it too.
I pray that you would grow to love and serve the Lord with the passion, enthusiasm, determination, and spirit that you put into everything you do.
Happy Birthday, my sweet Rebekah. I love you.
