Every Wednesday morning, several moms from our Sunday School class get together at a local park. I began going shortly after Hannah was born, not because she particularly enjoyed it, but because it gave me an excuse to get out of the house and be with my friends. At that time, Hannah was more than content to just hang out in her carseat/stroller, or maybe sit quietly in my lap as we watched the “big kids†play.

My how times have changed! Hannah was no longer “baby Hannah,†as she was affectionately called last year. She has become one of the kids! She was running around the playground, climbing on the equipment, sliding down the slides…all by herself. She was not at all content to sit quietly in my lap. In fact, she only acknowledged my existence when she wanted a drink or her snack!

She was one exhausted little girl when we headed home this afternoon! I don’t think she made it to the end of the street before she was sound asleep….But, she had a great time!Â
